Sub Society "No Legs To Stand On" Cassette
Reintroducing “No Legs To Stand On”, the cassette-only reissue by San Diego’s best kept skate rock secret, Sub Society.
Originally recorded and released in 1989, these tracks alternate effortlessly between thrashing hardcore, melodic punk, guitar-driven alternative rock and SST Records-esque idiosyncraticity - each charged with exemplary metallic- riffage.
Shortly after its release, copies of “No Legs To Stand On” sold rapidly nation-wide through mail order. Undoubtedly this was due to skateboard company H-Street’s use of two of its songs in the soundtrack to its groundbreaking debut home video “Hokus Pokus ”, endearing the band to skateboarders worldwide.
Now, back in print for its first time, and in its original format, “No Legs To Stand On” presently features seven bonus tracks.
